unique Central Australian flora including (Livistona mariae) the red cabbage palm, found nowhere else in the world..

After a scrumptious picnic lunch, we travel to the Aboriginal community of Hermannsburg. Time to relax in the historic tea-rooms of the old Lutheran Mission or wander the precinct. Inspect the art gallery containing watercolours by the famous Aboriginal painter Albert Namatjira, who was born here.
